DOD Secret Clearance Preferred
Rate: $45 to $55 an hour with partial benefits
Do you have over 5 years working with CAD Tools to create 3D Models and Drawings? Have you worked with Marine or Navy equipment changes? Have you meet ASME Standards for 14.5 and 14.1 for Engineering Design changes? Have you changedprecise details of dimensioning and tolerancing, including symbols, definitions, and rules for indicating allowable variations in a part's geometry?
Required Education, Clearance, Skills, and Experience:-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. -
5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.-
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.-
Design of electro-mechanical systems used in the defense industry; -Proficiency utilizing CAD tools to create 3D models and drawings for technical data packages -
ASME Y14.5 and ASME Y14.100 standards; -
Experience performing structural and thermal analyses to meet submarine environmental requirements.
Preferred Education, Clearance, Skills & Experience:-Submarine Military Standard experience-
Active DOD Secret Clearance-
Creo 8 or Solidworks experience
