Customer Service Representative

Your role will require you to work closely with various teams and clients to ensure smooth operation and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage customer orders, including receiving, entering, and editing for accurate pricing and shipping costs.
• Handle customer inquiries in a detail oriented manner, including those from irate customers.
• Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding order status and product knowledge.
• Maintain and update the customer name and address database, and open new client accounts.
• Communicate with customers regarding shipment delays or any information necessary to process orders.
• Work closely with Sales Representatives, Drivers, Distribution and Service Managers to resolve issues and conflicts related to orders.
• Solicit sales of additional products from clients to complete truck orders.
• Process customer returns according to established procedures.
• Collect customer feedback and report it to relevant management personnel.
• Ensure all work conforms to safety rules and use appropriate safety equipment. • Proficient in answering inbound calls and handling customer inquiries
• Prior experience in a call center customer service environment
• Strong customer service skills, including the ability to resolve customer issues effectively
• Accurate data entry skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in email correspondence, ensuring timely and detail oriented responses
• Experience with both inbound and outbound calls
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Experience with order entry and order management
• Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars
• Experience in coordinating logistics for product delivery and distribution
• Understanding of logistics and distribution processes
• Experience in logistics and distribution sector is a plus
