Quality Inspector
A Quality Inspector in the Torrance, CA area is needed for a multinational power management company. This role involves inspecting aerospace components for quality and dimensional accuracy, ensuring compliance with industry standards, generating inspection reports, and supporting operational goals through leadership and documentation review.

responsibilities:
- Inspect aerospace component parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies (receiving, in-process, and outbound) for conformance.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections based on manufacturing drawings, quality control specifications, and supplier/customer requirements.
- Review and accept paperwork and documentation related to product acceptance.
- Generate manual or computer-based inspection reports to approve or reject products.
- Utilize measurement equipment, including:
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Pin gages
- Thread plugs
- Thread ring gages
- Surface plates
- Optical comparator
- Process data transactions as required.
- Apply basic knowledge of geometrical tolerancing and dimensional measurements per industry standards.
- Conduct inspections following IPC and J-STD requirements.
- Certified IPC Specialist in IPC/WHMA-A-620 or IPC-A-610 (current or previous).
