We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Front Desk Coordinator in the heart of Washington, District of Columbia. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our visitors and will handle all duties related to front desk coverage.

This includes managing meeting rooms, handling mail and packages, and other administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet and direct visitors upon their arrival, ensuring they receive visitor badges if required
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing mail and packages, ensuring they reach the correct destination promptly
  • Manage the scheduling and organization of conference rooms, including set up and clean up
  • Coordinate catering services for meetings and events as needed
  • Maintain an organized and accurate calendar of all meetings and events
  • Efficiently manage data entry tasks to keep records up-to-date
  • Field incoming phone calls on a switchboard with 1 - 10 lines
  • Utilize Microsoft Outlook for all scheduling and correspondence needs. • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook is required, with the ability to manage and maintain calendars effectively.
  • Experience in conference room setup and cleanup is necessary, demonstrating attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of conference room operations and scheduling.
  • Strong calendar management skills to ensure smooth operation of daily activities.
  • Ability to maintain and update calendars, demonstrating high-level organization skills.
  • Experience in catering coordination, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience operating switchboards, specifically handling 1 to 10 lines, demonstrating strong communication skills.
