Staff Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

1. Prepare financial records for our company, including transactions, investments, and all other fiscal matters.
2. Ensure that statements and records comply with laws and regulations.
3. Assist with audits and tax reports.
4. Prepare, analyze, and design monthly/quarterly/end of year financial statements and reports.
5. Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
6. Perform routine calculations to produce reports and financial data.
7. Use your bookkeeping skills to manage day-to-day accounting, such as accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries.
8. Completing financial tasks, reports, and analysis on a regular and ad-hoc basis.
9. Collaborate with accounting teams and management to set budgets, develop financial plans, and make decisions based on financial research.
10. Help to resolve and troubleshoot any accounting issues that arise.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a Staff Accountant, or similar role.
3. Proficient in advanced MS Excel, QuickBooks, and accounting software.
4. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
6. Strong written and oral communication skills.
7. Ability to meet deadlines.
8. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
9. Commitment to promoting ethical standards and adherence to the company code of conduct.
10. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus.
