My client is a family owned business, with over 100 employees, of over 50 years, and they are focused on stamping and metal fabrication. This company boasts a 200,000 sq ft facility with over 100 machines on-site. They are currently in process of growing their team, through bringing on this Quality Assurance Manager, as their customer base continues to expand.

Job Description- Develop and maintain quality control standards, policies, and procedures in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements in accordance with IATF 16949
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of quality control technicians, analysts, and inspectors.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D departments to identify and address quality-related issues and develop effective solutions.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve product/service quality and operational efficiency.
- Conduct thorough inspections and audits of products/services at various stages to identify defects, deviations, or non-conformities.
- Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.
- Participate in the development and execution of training programs to ensure that all team members are well-versed in quality control protocols.
- Communicate and collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.
- Prepare and present quality control reports and metrics to senior management.

The Successful Applicant- IATF 16949 audit experience
- Proven experience in quality control, with a minimum of 3+ years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Background in Metals, specificallt stamping preferred
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to analyze complex data.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and present findings to senior management.
- Competitive compensation of $100,000 - $120,000
- PTO: 3+ weeks
