As part of the senior team this role will lead on the development and execution of a new People and Organisation strategy which emerges from the new 3 year Bord Bia strategy.
What you’ll do- As part of a team of Senior HR and business leaders, lead on the development, management and implementation of a new People and Organisation strategy to underpin the new Bord Bia corporate strategy 2025 – 2028.
- Working with the Director Corporate Services and HR, HR Director and key internal stakeholders build, shape and develop the HR function in line with Bord Bia’s current and future needs.
- Oversee the development of a HR framework of HRIS systems, processes, procedures, policies, service delivery standards and ways of working, including appropriate benchmarking.
- Manage and implement the compensation and benefits function worldwide including overseeing implementation of National Wage Agreements and Sectoral Bargaining, updating of salary scales, annual salary review process and monthly salary process for both Ireland and overseas.
- With a business partner approach, be responsible for specified functions providing expert HR guidance and operational support to managers.
- Partner with and build strong relationships with managers, staff and respective unions, managing and contributing to Senior Management team meetings, Staff Consultative Committee and union meetings.
- Champion change across the organisation and be the people lead on a number of HR change initiatives that build organisation resilience, capability and improve performance.
- Role model the highest professional standards and execution skills with a deep understanding of business needs, raising the bar with regards HR practice, managing and building the capability of team members by determining and delegating priorities, through regular, formal PDP and PGP conversations and informal feedback and coaching.
- Manage assigned budgets in accordance with One Bord Bia procedures.
- Adhere to the One Bord Bia operating model.
About You
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities
Knowledge:
- 6 years plus experience in a HR Management position working into Senior management.
- Experience of working in a role with significant exposure to compensation, terms and conditions and pension elements preferably with exposure into global markets.
- HRIS & Performance Management.
- Leading change programs.
- Experience of re-engineering HR processes & developing policies.
- Management Development – coaching and group facilitation.
- Exposure to employee relations and internal communications.

- Digital first mindset with High Digital/Technical enabled Skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast paced change orientated business environment.
