This is a long-term contract position that offers a chance to collaborate with various teams and work on a broad range of accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Support the execution of system implementation projects, including data reconciliation between new and legacy systems
• Develop and implement processes and procedures to support new system functionality
• Participate actively in the month-end close process, including creating and recording journal entries
• Assist in the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, gathering supporting documentation, and resolving reconciling items in a timely manner
• Assist in monthly variance analysis and follow-up activities
• Support special projects that involve ad hoc reporting and financial analysis
• Respond to various information requests from management
• Assist in responding to requests during interim and year-end external audits
• Collaborate with cross-functional peers to achieve common goals
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook is required
• Experience with 'About Time' software is necessary
• Must have a strong background in finance and financial analysis
• Prior experience in workstation support is necessary
• Must have experience in external audit and reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations experience is a must
• Should have experience in implementation of financial procedures
• Ability to lead special projects and month-end close activities is necessary
• Knowledge of corporate accounting and legacy systems is required
• Must have experience in record journal entries
• Experience in variance analysis is preferred
• Must possess strong collaboration skills
• Ability to handle payment processing and ad hoc reporting
• Customer service skills are required
• Must have experience in documentation and reporting
• Experience in balance sheet account and month-end close activities is necessary.
