Associate Principal (Building Enclosure)

What You'll Do:

  • Consulting services for the built environment including, but not limited to, specialized building enclosure and/or structural testing, building enclosure and/or structural consulting, forensic investigations, property condition assessments, and design of repairs to existing structures
  • Leading and coaching junior staff members to develop technical expertise, project management, and client relationship skills
  • Project Management including:
  • Scoping projects
  • Preparing and reviewing proposals
  • Assisting project managers
  • Preparing and reviewing technical reports
  • Preparing and reviewing technical drawings and specifications for construction
  • Business development and assisting other staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing strong client relationships
  • Participate in local and regional professional and industry organizations.
  • Participate in technical groups within ECS to facilitate knowledge sharing across the company

What We're Looking For:

  • 12+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and demonstrable problem-solving aptitude
  • Ability to collaborate and guide multi-disciplinary teams through complex projects
  • Licensed Professional Engineer or Registered Architect
  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or Architectural Engineering with expertise and experience in Building Enclosure and/or Structural Engineering services. Master’s Degree Preferred.
  • Candidates are desired to hold a similar Associate Principal or Principal designation from competitor firm; however, consideration will be given for candidates with exemplary experience and background
