Become a Power Origination Advisor within Energy Procurement & Management (EPM) with the client and build a better tomorrow. The client's Energy Procurement & Management (EPM) organization is responsible for developing The client's multi-billion-dollar energy resource portfolio, with a particular emphasis on non-GHG emitting resources in furtherance of the Clients clean energy commitment.As an Advisor in Power Contract Origination, your work will focus on the procurement of energy resources and oversee all aspects of the deal-making process, including the solicitation process, due diligence, negotiations, selections, and closing.
In this job, your primary function will assist in energy procurement solicitations, originating and negotiating mid-term, and long-term structured transactions and power purchase agreements on behalf of The client customers while ensuring compliance with the California Public Utility Commission's (CPUC) rules and regulations, including The client's Integrated Resource Planning (IRP), Renewables Portfolio Standard, Resource Adequacy program, and other related regulatory procurement requirements.
Products include renewable and alternative energy, capacity, energy storage, emissions, and transmission. As a Power Origination Advisor, your work will directly help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions, and create cleaner air for everyone.
