The Role:

Private Client Service (PCS) Managers serve as members of various client service teams and must possess strong technical knowledge of individual and partnership tax planning, consulting and compliance; including subpart F, PFICs, foreign tax credits, treaties and foreign trust reporting.

In addition to the preparation and review of tax returns, Managers participate in identifying client issues and communicating with clients and financial managers.

Managers assist Senior Managers and Directors in identifying and researching various client issues, and regularly communicate with clients and management. Managers mentor Senior Associates, Associates and Interns.

Compensation and Benefits

Our firm offers competitive base compensation, benefits package, and a discretionary employee bonus program for eligible employees based on individual and firm performance metrics per the defined program guidelines. For individuals hired to work in New York City, the expected salary range for this role is $115,000 to $197,100; the actual salary offer can vary based upon employee qualifications.

Benefits: Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our firm’s 401(k) plan upon hire. We offer paid time off, beginning at 160 hours annually and provides twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year.

Compensation: In addition to competitive base compensation, our firm offers annual discretionary bonuses based on firm and individual performance, a discretionary long-term cash incentive program, and other forms of discretionary compensation that would be offered to the hired applicant in addition to their established salary range scale.

The Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related degree preferred;
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0; - CPA or MST advanced credential preferred;
  • At least 4 years relevant work experience;
  • Strong leadership, multitasking and organizational skills;
  • Initiative to seek out opportunities in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Ability to interact with, and gain respect of, all levels of internal and client personnel;
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Proficient use of technology including MS Excel; and
  • Strong attention to detail.
