My client specializes in designing and manufacturing high-performance and innovative specialty materials. They primarily focus on creating advanced textiles that are used in a variety of industries, including automotive, aerospace, medical devices and luxury consumer goods.

Job Description

Ensure the QMS conforms to all requirements of ISO9001
Achieves quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews
Prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards
Identify and resolve problems
Completing audits; determining system improvements; implementing change
Review all documents related to product quality
Support the ongoing implementation and continuous improvement
Responsible for staffing and training of personnel in QA/QC

The Successful Applicant

BS in Engineering or related
7+ years experience with QA function
Must demonstrate strong leadership skills
Must have experience with preventive quality engineering techniques such as PFMEA, control plans, process mapping.
Knowledge of and experience with utilizing Lean manufacturing practices.
Six Sigma Green Belt Certification a plus.
Possess critical thinking, active listening, judgment and decision making skills
Possess strong interpersonal skills with ability to deal with complexity
