Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise kitchen staff.
Ensure efficient and smooth kitchen operations duringcardroom hours.
Monitor food quality, consistency, and presentation, maintaining high standards while considering cost-effectiveness.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations andguidelines.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure kitchen equipment andworkspaces meet sanitation standards.
Train and educate kitchen staff on proper food handling andsafety protocols.
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor foodcosts to maximize profitability.
Implement cost-control measures to minimize waste and reduceexpenses.
Track and analyze sales data to make informed decisionsabout menu pricing and offerings.
Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff, fostering apositive and productive work environment.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, andaddress any performance issues.
Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safetyprotocols and practices.
Address and report any safety concerns promptly.
Collaborate with the front-of-house staff to ensure seamlessservice and a positive guest experience.
Handle customer inquiries and concerns regarding foodquality or service promptly and professionally.
Assist in creating and managing the kitchen budget, including labor and food costs.
May require some lifting (up to 50 lbs.), standing andwalking for prolonged periods of time.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in afast-paced restaurant or food service setting.
Strong culinary skills and knowledge of diverse cuisines.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Well organized and strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work a flexible schedule consisting of opening, closing, weekends, and holidays.
ServSafe certification.
State issued card room license. **
**State card room license is required and can be obtained atthe time of hiring.
