[ref. h9036502] Project Manager/Systems Engineer-CBTC Projects

L.J. Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Project Manager/Systems Engineer to support our client's Communications-based Train Control (CBTC) projects. Multiple roles are available. The Project Manager/Systems Engineer for CBTC Projects will have the following responsibilities, plus other related duties as necessary:-Ensure coherent planning of CBTC projects in the long-term, medium-term, and short-term (day-to-day specific project deliverables, for example).-Build a Signal Modernization Program Plan for client's train lines and support plan implementation.-Support project controls in developing methods for oversight and reporting on progress of projects.-Participate in the oversight of project performance.-Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication on project status and timely resolution of issues with the overall goal of project success.-Prepare and conduct presentations for key personnel.-Be involved in the overall procurement process, negotiations, and identification of third party CBTC suppliers.-Support contract and change order negotiations and implementations.
