Excellence Manager Production System

About the Role:

You will partner with plant leadership to achieve strategic goals, optimize performance, and ensure alignment with our commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Lead strategy deployment (SD) and ensure alignment of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across all levels of the organization.
• Collaborate with plant leadership and business unit managers to develop and execute the plant's Excellence and Cost to Win plan/budget.
• Coach and mentor the plant leadership team on excellence principles, including external and internal benchmarking and a zero-loss approach.
• Develop and enhance capability through component teams, establishing strong foundations in safety, quality, and reliability.
• Coordinate the deployment of excellence components and methodologies to achieve long-term continuous improvement objectives.
• Lead focused improvement initiatives, including Kaizen events, to eliminate waste and optimize processes.
• Develop and manage a multi-year Cost to Win (CTW) portfolio, overseeing governance processes and loss landscape optimization.
• Coordinate component and project teams to achieve strategic goals and meet or exceed CTW targets.
• Create and manage the continuous improvement budget.
• Champion safety, customer centricity, and operational excellence throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of manufacturing experience, including leadership roles within a plant.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating and managing a production system.
• Demonstrated experience and recognized expertise in production system methodologies.
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and achieve measurable results.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification is preferred.
