On a typical work day, tasks consist of basic horse care, dragging of pastures, and light pampering of the two retired horses who live out full-time. When the owner is traveling, work would consist of 2 feedings instead of 1, and general oversight to ensure all members of the 4 legged family have all body parts accounted for!

With only 2 of the 4 horses spending any considerable time stalled, the labor load stays light with minimal stall cleaning. All basic facility work (mowing, weed eating, etc) and any major facility projects/storm cleanup is outsourced accordingly!
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a conscientious and experienced individual to devote roughly 10 hours per week spread across 2-3 days to the care of this lovely, private farm. With the owner of this facility traveling regularly for work, the ideal individual will also be comfortable farm sitting roughly 1 week per month with overnight stays on-site.On a typical work day, tasks consist of basic horse care, dragging of pastures, and light pampering of the two retired horses who live out full-time. Job Duties (2
- 3 days per week)
- Ideally Morning hours, every other day- Feed horses
- Assist owner with riding/care of 2 horses in work
- Clean stalls of horses in-work (2 stalls)- Bring in outside horses for a bath and doctoring of any scrapes or bumps- Drag pastures while horses are inside- Occasional other small tasks as desired & needed
Most months it is 1 week, some months may be 2, some may be 0**
