Payroll Administrator

One of our clients in the Concord area is looking for a Payroll Administrator for a contract to permanent placement opportunity.
***Contact Ade Henderson via LinkedIn for immediate consideration***- Manage and guarantee weekly disbursement of payroll, including garnishments, benefits, and taxes.
- Implement and maintain payroll best practices to improve efficiency and consult with human resources team to improve payroll and HRIS system processes.
- Manage time attendance system, setup department rules, and handle employee inquiries related to their timecards.
- Compile data from payroll sources.
- Handle administrative tasks, including, but not limited to, record-keeping and filing.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and irregularities.
- Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions.
- Conduct staff audits and ensure that staff salaries are in accordance with labor laws.
- Maintain employee records for new hires, pay changes, and departures.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator.
- Excellent understanding of payroll and benefits legislation and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent mathematical skills and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
