We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Part Time HR Coordinator in New York, NY. This role operates in a hybrid workplace and is part of the Human Resources function. The HR Coordinator will be instrumental in various HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and HRIS management.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Take charge of the onboarding process for new hires, from preparing paperwork to conducting orientation sessions, ensuring a smooth integration into the team.
- Administer employee benefits programs, answering employee queries, and ensuring the timely processing of benefits paperwork.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system, upholding accuracy and confidentiality.
- Generate HR reports and analytics to inform decision-making and HR initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, and assist in the development of HR policies and procedures.
- Support HR events and initiatives, such as training programs, wellness activities, and recognition programs.
- Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure all HR updates are communicated and implemented.
- Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR Coordinator role or similar position
- Proficiency in ADP
- Financial Services and ADP
- Payroll systems
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now and ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
- Familiarity with Ceridian, Dayforce, and About Time software
- Proven ability in auditing and conducting background checks
- Understanding of benefit functions and benefits administration
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with Workday and Paycom systems
- Knowledge of leave of absence policies and procedures
- Ability to manage and improve employee relations
- Experience with HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems
