Summary
The ideal candidate will have entry level knowledge of restaurant operations, with prior experience as a Server Assistant in a refined restaurant setting. This individual needs to demonstrate a strong ability to multi-task and work with a sense of urgency.This individual must also be able to take directions well and maintain their composure and professionalism under pressure. Ideal candidates have a desire to learn and grow into greater roles as servers & bartenders and will work diligently to hone their skills, to enable this.
Essential Functions
Job duties include, although are not limited to:
- Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting. Promptly and consistently reset all serviceware as prescribed.
- Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments. Wipe down booths and chairs, move tables and chairs, and clean floors as necessary.
- Serve guests with beverages, breads and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary. Assist server with food & beverage service to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Transport all dirty tableware from the dining room to the dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
- Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
- Fold napkins for all meal periods throughout the day to maintain an adequate supply.
- Perform all assigned sidework to include replenishing condiments and restocking sidestands.
- Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills, handling special guest requests, greeting and seating guests and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Attend required meetings.
- Adheres to all company standards related to members, guests, and associates experience
- Follows all safety standards

Qualifications- Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.
- Ability to understand and communicate English to comprehend and respond to basic guest requests. Ability to understand written English to read any caution or safety notices.
- Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, transport up to 50 lbs. through a crowded room.
- Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 200 lbs.
- Grade school education preferred.
- Prefer six (6) months previous bussing experience.
- Must obtain any government required licenses or certificates. Examples include a Washington Health Card Permit; Oregon Liquor Service Permit; Alcohol Service Permit. CPR certification and/or 1st Aid Training preferred.
Grooming/Uniform
All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance. Specific uniform guidelines and/or required articles of clothing will be explained as a part of the orientation process.
Physical Requirements
Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. It requires walking or standing to a significant degree, as well as reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing.
