Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is looking to hire a skilled Laboratory Assistant for their client in Bohemia, NY location /
Job Type -Temp
Shift Hours - 8am to 5pm (M-F)
Pay - 28.00 to 29.86/HR
Job Summary-
The Lab assistance provides support to the R&D Sr Scientists by preparing samples for external testing, submitting samples to the labs, uploading results and preparing documentations, collect information to support risk assessment.
Roles and Responsibilities -- Maintain documentation, restorability and process according to the quality system in place, instructions and tools which are directly related to sample management
- Weight samples (ingredients and finished product) and submission to external Laboratories.
- Creation of Analytical request, Upload and organize results.
- Organize and manage stability samples according to the protocols.
- Reporting of abnormalities via notification and take immediate corrections.
Apprenticeship programs or Bachelor's degree or equivalent (microbiology, chemistry, food technology or other related fields)
Operational Experience: Previous experience in another laboratory or analytical environment
is an asset.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $29.86 per hour
