Attorney/Lawyer

This lawyer will also have expertise in dealing with legalities in the technology space, particularly related to mobile apps, gaming, and the internet. Strong commercial litigation experience with an interest in shifting to transactional work will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of corporate finance matters, including strategic investments and capital market transactions.
2. Draft, negotiate, and review various types of contracts such as buy/sell agreements, employment contracts, and commercial contracts.
3. Stay informed about changes and developments in corporate finance law and maintain a sound understanding of how they impact the firm’s clients.
4. Support practice development and provide strategic legal advice related to existing and emerging markets within the tech sector.
5. Oversee work of other attorneys in this space.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Law degree from a recognized university and a license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
2. 7+ years of legal experience in corporate finance, contracts, employment agreements, and privacy policies.
3. Experience working in technology law, specifically in the areas of mobile apps and internet.
4. Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
5. The ability to translate complex legal terms into understandable business terms.
6. Good judgement, analytical skills, and the ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions.
7. Proficiency in legal research tools and technology.
