Senior Accountant - Temp to Hire

About Our Client

My client is a educational organization based in the Bronx. They are looking for a senior accountant to join their team on a temp to hire basis; this is a hybrid role.

• Reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and fixed assets.
• Develop and manage accounting projects, ensuring timely delivery.
• Work independently to identify, gather, and use necessary resources and information to
• execute assigned tasks.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to ensure accuracy and compliance with
• organizational procedures.
• Ensure proper accounting of transactions in compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Completed Bachelors degree
• 3+ years accounting experience
• Knowledge of bank reconciliations, accounts payable and fixed asset accounting
• Sage Intaact software preferred
• Strong MS Excel knowledge required
• Ability to improve processes
