Accounting Manager

Our growing client is looking for an Accounting Manager for a 6 month contract role. This role is based in Nashville, Tennessee, and is fully remote. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing assigned client accounts, fostering employee engagement, and creating metrics to track productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage assigned client accounts
• Interface with clients and ensure quality control of the work produced by the team
• Foster a positive work environment to enhance employee engagement and performance
• Develop and implement metrics to track team productivity and efficiency
• Utilize accounting software systems, such as QuickBooks, to manage and reconcile accounts
• Handle accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliation
• Maintain accurate account records and ensure all balance sheet account reconciliations are completed
• Prepare and adjust journal entries as needed.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Comprehensive understanding and experience with Accounting Functions such as month end close
• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience with handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficiency in Financial Statement Preparation
• Extensive experience in Account Reconciliation
• Ability to create and manage Journal Entries
• Proficiency in using Quickbooks Online and other accounting software
