I am currently partnering with my favorite client that is looking to add a Senior Pricing/FP&A Analyst to their growing team near Elmhurst, IL. This client is one of the most well-known, multi-million dollar manufacturers in their niche, utilized by some of the biggest names in the industry.

As the Senior Pricing/FP&A Analyst, you will have the opportunity to receive extensive mentorship and training from the CFO, and be a key player in fuelling the company's growth.

Job Description

Senior Pricing/FP&A Analyst Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine pricing approaches to enhance revenue, profitability, and margin growth.
• Conduct in-depth analyses of market trends, competitor pricing, and customer purchasing behaviour.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, R&D, and operations, to ensure pricing strategies align with organizational goals and customer needs.
• Serve as the pricing authority, focusing on cost structures, margin targets, and customer engagement strategies.
• Monitor and respond to shifts in the market, customer preferences, and competitive landscape, adjusting pricing strategies as necessary.
• Evaluate pricing sensitivity and perform scenario planning to determine the effects of different pricing models.
• Oversee and approve pricing frameworks for new products, services, or promotions.
• Support annual strategic planning, budgeting, and financial forecasting processes to align with organizational objectives.
• Build and maintain financial models to forecast revenue and costs under varying market and pricing conditions.
• Regularly update financial projections and evaluate the impact of strategic decisions and external influences.
• Track critical financial metrics, such as revenue, margins, and expenses, and advise leadership on improvement opportunities.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and suggest strategies for growth and risk mitigation.
• Analyze variances, key performance indicators (KPIs), and trends to deliver actionable insights.
• Prepare financial reports that identify potential business opportunities and risks.

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5+ years of relevant working experience within the manufacturing industry
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint experience
• FP&A experience
• Pricing experience preferred
• Strong communication skills
