Project Manager – Jr Level

We are in search of a Junior Level Project Manager to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. As part of this role, you will be tasked with assisting in the coordination and oversight of blueways projects from start to finish. This role is part of a long-term contract employment opportunity where you will be expected to ensure project objectives and deliverables are met timely and accurately.

Responsibilities
  • Manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resources
  • Monitor and report on the progress of the project, identifying any issues and risks that may need additional attention
  • Ensure quality control throughout the project to maintain the expected standards and ensure progress adheres to project designs
  • Coordinate contractors and vendors on blueway projects
  • Develop independent solutions to potential project issues and present them for discussion
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with construction, management, and local government groups related to the project and project site
  • Assist in logistics and planning for water recreation events, such as group paddling
  • Ensure tactical execution of project objectives and deliverables are achieved on time, within scope, and accurately
  • Maintain clear communication channels to ensure all stakeholders are kept informed of project progress and developments. • Demonstrated ability in effective Communication, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Planning and Project Planning, with a focus on setting and achieving Milestones
  • Strong understanding of time management and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proven Leadership Skills and ability to guide and motivate a team
  • Experience in Logistics and managing Vendors for efficient project execution
  • Ability to monitor Project Progress and make necessary adjustments for successful completion
  • Experience in Construction Project Management would be advantageous
  • Quality Control and QA Management skills to ensure project standards are met
  • Ability to manage Deliverable within the specified Timeline
  • Tactical Execution skills to handle project challenges effectively
  • Experience in managing Recreation projects is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
