Accounts Payable Specialist

We are looking for a meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk to join a growing team in the oil and gas industry. This role involves handling high-volume accounts payable tasks, including 3-way matching, data entry, and troubleshooting. You will be part of a team managing a busy inbox, and responsible for overseeing the complete process from receipt to month-end close.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process high volumes of invoices using NetSuite and Microsoft Excel.
• Perform 3-way matching to check the accuracy of invoices.
• Handle data entry tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during the invoice processing phase.
• Conduct the full process from receiving invoices to month-end close.
• Manage a busy inbox, prioritizing tasks and responding to queries in a timely manner.
• Conduct check runs to ensure timely payments to creditors.
• Code invoices correctly to ensure proper categorization in our system.
• Monitor and maintain accurate accounts payable records.
• Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is required
• Familiarity with month-end close procedures
• Proven ability in performing check runs
• Experience in coding invoices is necessary
• Practical knowledge of invoice processing is crucial
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy are paramount
