We are offering a long-term contract only employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in the Financial Services/Auto Loans industry, based in College Park, Georgia. This role primarily involves processing operations related to winding down and managing customer accounts while the business ultimately closes.

This contract could be 6 months to a couple years.

Responsibilities:

Efficiently handle outbound and inbound customer interactions
Accurately process customer credit applications
Utilize accounting software systems to maintain and update customer records
Monitor customer accounts and conduct appropriate follow-up actions
Carry out billing functions and manage collection processes
Ensure dependability and professionalism in all operations
Contribute to a positive and efficient office environment.
At least one year of experience in a similar role within the financial services industry
Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems
Experience in handling inbound calls in a detail oriented manner
Familiarity with billing functions and their importance in the collections process
Demonstrated knowledge of collection processes and techniques
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, understanding their needs and working towards satisfactory resolutions
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling financial data
Strong negotiation skills to find mutually beneficial solutions
Commitment to adhere to all company policies and regulations related to collections.
