We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Human Resources Coordinator in the hospitality industry based in Stamford, Connecticut. As a Human Resources Coordinator, your key responsibility will be to assist our team with an upcoming compliance audit.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop skills and gain experience in HR compliance and audit processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and executing an imminent compliance audit
  • Manage required paperwork, including Payroll Records and I-9 files
  • Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy
  • Utilize Excel for data manipulation and analysis
  • Maintain a strong understanding of HR procedures and compliance regulations
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining thoroughness
  • Use your experience in Human Resources, particularly in roles focusing on compliance and audits, to ensure the smooth running of operations
  • Proficiently manage Payroll Records and I-9 files
  • Exhibit excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Proven experience in Human Resources or related field.
  • Strong understanding of Human Resources (HR) Administration.
  • Experience with Payroll processing and systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Certification in Human Resources (such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred.
