We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a HR Generalist role. The position is fully remote, but the candidate must be located on the East coast and work during East Coast Time Zone hours. This role is crucial for managing Employee Relations cases, conducting training sessions, overseeing recruitment processes, and facilitating coordination between different locations.

This role is integral to our operations and will involve working closely with various departments to ensure smooth functioning.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and resolve complex Employee Relations cases, including labor disputes and employee grievances, while maintaining compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Design, develop, and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and performance. This includes conducting onboarding sessions for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff.
  • Lead the recruitment process for various positions, from sourcing and interviewing to selecting candidates.
  • Act as a liaison between different locations, facilitating effective communication and coordination to ensure alignment of operations with company policies and standards.
  • Ensure all HR practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations. This includes maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems, providing coaching and support to managers and employees to enhance performance and productivity.
  • Promote and uphold the company culture and values, implementing initiatives to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive work environment.
  • Provide operational support to the Operations Department, offering HR insights to improve performance.
  • Perform other HR-related tasks as assigned.
  • Experience - 3-5 years of HR experience, with a focus on employee relations, training, and recruitment
  • Education - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Certification - Must hold valid SHRM certificate
  • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
  • Experience with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
  • Familiarity with Ceridian and Dayforce software
  • Understanding of Benefit Functions within a HR role
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of HR Compliance and legal regulations
  • Proven experience in managing Employee Relations
  • Understanding of Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) provisions
  • Proficiency in Chinese language would be advantageous
  • Experience in Full Cycle Recruiting processes
  • Knowledge of HR operations and best practices
