Accounting Specialist

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in San Ramon, California. The role involves executing various accounting functions in an onsite setting. This position is suited for individuals with a strong background in accounting and proficiency in industry-specific software such as Yardi.

• Conduct accounting tasks including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Utilize Yardi software for various accounting operations.
• Continuously review and monitor customer accounts and initiate necessary actions.
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner.
• Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date customer credit records.
• Ensure adherence to established accounting principles and company procedures.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline processes and improve productivity.
• Handle special projects and perform other duties as assigned. • Proficiency in handling Accounting Functions
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with Yardi software
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Knowledge of financial regulations and standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
