Warehouse Cut & Strip Associate - 2PM-10:30PM - Collegeville, PA
Overview:
Allied Wire & Cable (AWC), a GCG Company, is currently hiring 2nd Shift Warehouse Cut & Strip Associate to join our growing team in Collegeville, PA! In this role, you will be responsible for operating machines to cut and strip wire/cable, performing quality control and inspections, and assisting with general warehouse duties as needed.

Hours: 2:00PM to 10:30PM M-F
Pay Rate: $19/hr ($18/hr + $1 shift differential) + full benefitsLocation: 101 Kestrel Drive Collegeville, PA 19426

- Review order tickets and set up machines using iPads according to ticket specifications
- Operate multiple machines to cut pieces of cable per order instructions
- Conduct inspections of product using rules, calipers, and micrometers
- Use computers to complete paperwork
- Cut samples of wire to check for damages and send to customers
- Operate pallet jacks to relocate inventory
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- Attention to detail and ability to handle small wires and components
- Ability to multi-task
- Basic math and computer skills
- Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs
