As a Staff Account Your Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Independently compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries.
- Perform various account reconciliations and maintain balance sheet reconciliation records.
- Assist with fixed asset tracking and maintenance.
- Create and edit financial reports within accounting/finance software.
- Communicate financial information to department heads and maintain relationships with other departments.
- Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
- Ensure transactions are in accordance with GAAP and Internal policies and procedures are followed.
- Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
- Assist in preparing audit work papers and being involved in the audit process for internal, external and regulatory agency audits.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for inventory variances and deviance by any department from established inventory control procedures.
- Administer attendance and PTO time as well as annual and bi-annual employee reviews.

The Ideal Staff Accountant will meet the following Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
- Candidate must have a strong understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations is required
- The role necessitates experience with General Ledger management
- Proficiency in Journal Entries is a must
- Experience with Month End Close is required
- Familiarity with NetSuite is required for this role
- Proficiency in using Oracle is a must
- QuickBooks experience is essential for this role
- SAP skills are required for this position
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to finding solutions
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to maintain accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
