About Our Client

My client is a leading international CRO specializing in preclinical research, dedicated to providing cutting-edge support to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies globally. Their core capabilities include preclinical discovery, testing, and development, with a particular emphasis on creating and characterizing genetically engineered mouse models.

Job Description
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships within the preclinical industry
  • Develop a deep understanding of both scientific and business aspects of transgenic animal models and antibody discovery to effectively communicate technical advantages to potential partners.
  • Develop and implement growth strategies for the Midwest region
  • Identify opportunities for partnerships and new business development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting on business development activities
  • Stay updated with industry trends and competitive landscape
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Business Development Manager should have:

  • A strong background in life sciences and business development
  • High-level bioscience degree, Ph.D. is preferred
  • Proven track record of driving business growth in a similar role
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
  • Preferred hands-on experience with mouse models
  • Location in the Midwest (MI, WI, MN, IA, IL, IN, OH, MO, KS, NE, SD, ND)
