Their core capabilities include preclinical discovery, testing, and development, with a particular emphasis on creating and characterizing genetically engineered mouse models.
Job Description- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships within the preclinical industry
- Develop a deep understanding of both scientific and business aspects of transgenic animal models and antibody discovery to effectively communicate technical advantages to potential partners.
- Develop and implement growth strategies for the Midwest region
- Identify opportunities for partnerships and new business development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives
- Provide timely and accurate reporting on business development activities
- Stay updated with industry trends and competitive landscape
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines

The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Business Development Manager should have:
- A strong background in life sciences and business development
- High-level bioscience degree, Ph.D. is preferred
- Proven track record of driving business growth in a similar role
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
- Preferred hands-on experience with mouse models
- Location in the Midwest (MI, WI, MN, IA, IL, IN, OH, MO, KS, NE, SD, ND)
