About Our Client

Our client specializes in sheet metal fabrication and injection molding, with expertise in welding, powder coating, blanking, and a range of other manufacturing processes tailored for the industrial and medical device industries. They hold ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications and run a modern, expansive facility of over 160,000 sq ft, employing a dedicated team of approximately 200 individuals.

• The Quality Engineer is responsible for analyzing product reports and returns, recommending corrective actions as necessary. They prepare documentation for inspection and testing procedures and handle PPAP, APQP, Control Plans, and FMEA with a strong background in Continuous Improvement Processes.
• They gather customer information and relay it both internally and to vendors, ensuring customer specifications and expectations are met or exceeded. The role involves collaboration with various departments on current and future product configurations and facilitating corrective actions while verifying their effectiveness.
• The Quality Engineer also coordinates technical aspects of product documentation and addresses manufacturing challenges. They contribute to the development and maintenance of policies and procedures for configuration management and establish inspection and quality assurance standards and procedures.
• Additionally, they work with vendors to resolve quality-related issues and operate in an open office environment.

• APQP, FMEA, Corrective Action, Control Plan, & Root Cause Analysis Experience
• Understanding of ISO 9001 standard
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 and ISO 14001 is a nice to have
