Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend and holidays as needed, no on-call, float to other ICUs
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the CCU is responsible for providing critical care to high-acuity patients, including COVID care, with a patient ratio of 1:1 to a max of 1:3. The role involves assessing, planning, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs, performing therapeutic interventions, and collaborating with physicians to manage patient care.The RN will also float to other ICUs as required.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in critical care and med/surg.
- Education: ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: NJ RN license or multi-state compact license, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), tele certification or competency exam.
