Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will be involved in the processing of invoices, vendor communication, and statement reconciliations. This role presents a contract/contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the processing of customer credit applications with precision and efficiency
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records
• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Utilize industry-specific accounting software systems for various tasks
• Perform account coding as part of the job responsibilities
• Contribute to the overall functioning of the accounting department
• Engage in auditing tasks as required
• Utilize knowledge of the Automated Clearing House (ACH) for transactions
• Work with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for business management tasks.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems
• Understanding of ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with Concur software
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Experience with accounting functions
• Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Understanding of Accrual Accounting principles
• Ability to perform auditing tasks
• Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) operations
• Experience in account coding
