Location: SF Bay Area needs to be able to travel to Mexico once a quarter.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and bilingual (Spanish/English) Deployment Engineer specializing in network deployments with strong expertise in Mellanox technologies. This role will focus on the design, implementation, and support of network deployments, ensuring reliable and optimized performance across client infrastructures.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Mellanox products, a thorough understanding of networking concepts, and a strong ability to troubleshoot and support complex network environments. Occasional travel to Mexico is required.

Responsibilities:

Plan, design, and deploy network solutions utilizing Mellanox hardware and technologies.

Experience with Cumulus OS, OSFP, BGP and campus WAN is a MUST

Configure, test, and support InfiniBand and Ethernet solutions, ensuring optimal performance for client requirements.

Collaborate with clients to understand project needs, propose tailored solutions, and provide guidance on best practices.

Perform on-site installations, configurations, and troubleshooting as needed.

Monitor and maintain network deployments to ensure high availability and optimal performance.

Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to client teams for ongoing support and operations.

Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, maintaining clear documentation and escalation protocols.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, support, and project management) to streamline deployment processes and improve efficiency.

Travel occasionally to client sites in Mexico to provide hands-on support and ensure successful deployment outcomes.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

3+ years of experience in network engineering or deployment, with a strong emphasis on Mellanox technologies.

Hands-on experience with InfiniBand and Ethernet solutions, switches, and related networking hardware.

In-depth understanding of networking protocols, network configuration, and troubleshooting.

Proficiency in Mellanox hardware and tools (e.g., Mellanox OFED, SwitchX, Spectrum).

Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written).

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and within a team.

Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to Mexico for project-based assignments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.) to streamline deployment processes.

Familiarity with other networking hardware and technologies (Cisco, Juniper, etc.).

Certifications in network engineering (CCNA, CCNP, etc.) are a plus.
