We are looking for a Business Analyst specializing in Duck Creek to join our team in the financial services industry, located in Brookfield, Wisconsin. This role can be remote, but stellar communication skills and proven experience managing a system implementation remotely is required.
As a Business Analyst, your role will involve analyzing business processes, developing solutions, and working closely with various business units. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improving business efficiency
- Document detailed business and functional requirements, including user stories and process maps
- Develop and design specifications for new products and product enhancements
- Collaborate closely with business units to understand in-depth business processes and identify operational, financial, and technological risks
- Document necessary capabilities to address business challenges
- Assist project managers on complex projects related to business functions and facilitate meetings and workshops to drive consensus among stakeholders
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs
- Provide necessary training and support to end-users
- Use your expertise in system analysis, data flow mapping, and understanding of Agile SDLC to ensure efficient solutions
- Utilize your skills in Gap Analysis, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Business Process Functions, Duck Creek, Agile SDLC, and System Implementation.
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in a business analyst role within the financial services industry
- Proficiency in Duck Creek is essential
- Strong skills in Gap Analysis and AB Testing are required
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum and Agile SDLC methodologies is necessary
- Ability to understand and document Business Process Functions
- Experience in drafting Business Requirement Documents
- Must have experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and System Implementation
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must have a proactive approach to tasks and the ability to think strategically
- Must possess excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work effectively.
