Who is Youth Villages?

Youth Villages is a leader in behavioral health services for children, families, and young adults. As both a direct service organization and model purveyor, our evidence-based services are provided in 26 states and the District of Columbia. Founded in 1986, the agency has grown from two residential campuses to a nationwide organization that provides a continuum of care from intensive residential treatment to community-based programs.

Intensive in-home services are the agency’s largest program, reflecting the core value that children are best raised by their family.

We are a team of about 4,500 individuals who’ve come together to change the landscape of child welfare and juvenile justice across the country. Our work involves providing an array of counseling and treatment services to youth with severe emotional and behavioral problems.

Eighty-eight percent of those who go through treatment are succeeding two years after leaving our program. These youth are living at home, remaining in school, and are not experiencing trouble with the law.

We believe strongly in investing in and supporting our employees. We offer candidates opportunities to develop a career and be part of a positive change in our country’s treatment of at-risk youth and families.
