Patient Care Technician/BHT

Job Description:

Will be responsible for redirecting negative behaviors, vitals, charting, walking patients to other areas as needed, etc. You will not find 2 days that will be a like which is great, must be a team player and help where needed. May be taking patients to and from groups or listening to a patient air a grievance, ect.

There are 2 sides to every facility:

Inpatient: this is lock down units, they consist of 4-5 patients and will have several PCT’s, Peer support specialists, an RN or 2, as well as an LPN. There is no shortage of hands-on deck.

All job titles wear different color scrubs, so they are easily identified. This area tends to be very active.

Requirements:

• BLS
• Block Scheduling, must be comfortable with 3 12s, which are 7a-7p or 7p-7a
• GED or higher
• Must be flexible with scheduling

Pay and Benefits:

• Pay is between $16-20 per hour.
• 20 per hour would be reserved for those that have many years of experience.
• Shift differential.
• Weeknight Shift Differential (Mon-Thurs): 10%
• Weekend Day Shift Differential (Sat, Sun): $1.00 more per hour
• Weekend Night Shift Differential (Fri, Sat, Sun): $2.00 more per hour
• There is a $500 sign on bonus that is paid out upon 90 days the rest at 1 year.
