Position Summary

TCG Labs-Soleil is seeking a motivated and intellectually curious Associate Scientist/Scientist I to join our biology team. The ideal candidate will bring a deep passion for drug discovery and a collaborative spirit to help drive forward our mission of efficiently translating scientific insights into therapeutic solutions for patients facing serious diseases.

Leveraging knowledge and experience of various techniques in cell biology and molecular biology, this candidate will focus on in vitro assay development to support drug discovery efforts for our diverse pipeline projects.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and optimize in vitro biochemical and cell-based assays utilizing a variety of techniques to assess potential drug candidate activities and elucidate mechanisms of action.
  • Collaborate with in vivo pharmacology scientist to support endpoint sample analysis or establish ex vivo cellular assays.
  • Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and generate actionable insights to help drive project decision-making.
  • Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously and work cross-functionally with colleagues in groups such as antibody discovery or protein science.
  • Keep meticulous records of experiments performed and maintain electronic lab notebook entries.
  • Provide regular progress updates and present data at internal team meetings.
Qualifications
  • M.S. in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology or other relevant discipline with 6+ years of relevant experience, or B.S. with equivalent experience.
  • Strong cell culture skills including cell lines and primary cells.
  • Extensive experience in developing and optimizing cell-based assays using diverse platforms such as flow cytometry, ELISA, MSD, Luminex and qPCR.
  • Experience in molecular and cell biology techniques such as CRISPR, cell transfection, stable cell line generation.
  • Experience working on cellular models of diverse disease areas is desirable, including but not limited to immune-related diseases and oncology.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation with experience using relevant software and statistical tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Benefits and Compensation

TCG Labs-Soleil provides a competitive benefits package that includes access to Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Short and Long Term Disability, Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), 401k plan and PTO.

The anticipated salary range for fully qualified candidates applying for this role will be $91,000 - $175,000 annually (not including discretionary bonus, equity, and benefits). The final salary offered will be dependent on several factors that include but are not limited to relevant previous experience including duration and type of experience within the industry, education, and internal equity.
