Overview:

The Certified Radiologic Technologist participates in the care of patients in a physician office setting by performing radiographic procedures, processing films, maintaining x-ray logs and equipment, and filing all films. Will also provide support to nursing staff by measuring and recording vital signs, drawing blood, doing EKGs, placing patients in exam rooms, assisting the health care provider with exams/procedures, providing patient support during exams, cleaning instruments, maintaining medical supply inventory, and stocking exam rooms.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school or training program for Radiologic Technologist. One year of experience preferred. Current licensure by the State of Florida as a Radiologic Technologist. Current Basic Life Support certification or obtained within first month of employment.

Person should display initiative, have the ability to multitask, and be able to take on responsibilities. Proven ability to problem-solve and be a team member is essential. Excellent customer service skills and behaviors required.
