Front Desk Coordinator

We are in the process of adding a Front Desk Coordinator to our team based in Miami, Florida. The selected candidate will be the first point of contact for our financial firm, handling a high volume of phone calls and providing general office support.

This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the initial contact for all incoming phone calls, ensuring they are routed to the appropriate department or personnel promptly.
  • Provide general office support, including but not limited to, filing, faxing, and scanning documents.
  • Use word processing software to create, edit, and format documents as needed.
  • Utilize strong customer service skills to address and resolve customer inquiries effectively.
  • Monitor and maintain customer accounts, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Take appropriate action based on the status of customer accounts, such as contacting customers or escalating issues to management. • Must possess strong customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word is required.
  • Experience in a front desk role or similar is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are necessary.
  • Should have the ability to handle stress and stay calm under pressure.
  • Must exhibit a detail oriented demeanor and appearance at all times.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team is required.
  • Must have a problem-solving attitude and a keen eye for detail.
  • Should be able to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Experience with office equipment such as fax machines and printers is a plus.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures is beneficial.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion is crucial.
