Our client has been in business for over 30 years, serving clients across Maryland and DC. Originally a small specialty contractor, they have since expanded their portfolio to include commercial renovations and new construction projects valued up to $10M.

With a solid growth strategy aiming for $150M in annual revenue, they are looking to expand their team and are seeking a skilled Assistant Project Manager to join them.

Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager - Family Owned Commercial GC - MD will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and vendor
  • Monitoring project progress
  • Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and codes
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation
  • Attending project meetings
  • Completing RFIs, submittals, and change orders

The Successful Applicant

The Assistant Project Manager - Family Owned Commercial GC - MD will have:

  • 1+ years of experience in construction as a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager
  • commercial construction experience required
  • experience assisting on projects up to $10M
  • excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • strong attention to detail
