Our SaaS client based in Wisconsin is searching for a talented and resourceful Java Software Engineer to join them via Direct Hire. Following a recent merger with a competitor, our client is undergoing a strategic transition from .Net to Java. We're seeking a talented Full Stack Java Software Engineer to assist with this initiative and guide the team through the change.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, influencing the future of our development stack and cross-training .Net developers in Java.
Key Responsibilities- Aid in the transition from .Net to Java, providing technical expertise throughout the process.
- Work with teams to cross-train .Net developers in Java, ensuring a smooth knowledge transfer.
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java, Spring MVC, React, Typescript, Core API, and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers as they adapt to Java.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring MVC, React, Typescript, Core API, and JavaScript.
- Experience with both .Net and Java is a plus, but deep proficiency in Java is essential.
- Proven experience in training or mentoring developers.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments.
