POSITION SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Software Development Engineer for an onsite role in the Hillsboro, OR area. The main function of a software development engineer is to apply the principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of the software and systems that make computers work.
This position operates during standard business hours and requires the candidate to be onsite five days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Modify existing databases and database management systems.
- Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.
- Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations.
- Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.
Qualifications:
- Must has a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field.
- Must have a minimum 5+ years of experience with Software debugging.
- Must have a minimum 5+ years of experience with Hardware software development.
- Must have a minimum 5+ years of experience with post silicon validation process and methodologies.
- Should have extensive experience in developing and maintaining large python applications
- Should have knowledge regarding the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.
- Should have the ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.
- Should have basic knowledge of computer development software as it relates to systems, such as SQL, VisualBasic, etc.
- For remote positions, all candidates must complete a video screen with our corporate recruiting team.

- A competitive pay range of $60/hr- $62/hr (depending on experience).
- Position Location: 100% Onsite – Hillsboro, Oregon, United States.
- 15 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO).
- 8 paid holidays per year + 1 personal floating holiday.
