responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, troubleshoot, and repair precision opto-mechanical and electro-optical systems.
- Interpret technical drawings, manuals, and instructions to perform tasks accurately.
- Perform complex bonding and curing procedures for critical components.
- Operate and maintain test equipment, instruments, and automated documentation systems.
- Inspect and verify completed work for accuracy and quality assurance.
- Assist with additional duties as assigned to support production goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent; A.S. degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a related technical field (PCB assembly experience is a plus).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for short durations.
- Proven ability to learn and adapt on the job.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Proficiency in interpreting schematics, drawings, and technical manuals.
- Experience with test equipment and automated systems for assembly and verification.
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
