Accounts Payable Specialist

We are offering an exciting opportunity in the manufacturing industry, based in Huntersville, North Carolina, United States. We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist who will play a crucial role in managing our financial obligations. Your primary responsibilities will include handling accounts payable tasks, performing account reconciliation, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the accounts payable function, ensuring all financial deadlines are met.
• Execute account reconciliations to maintain accurate records and check for any discrepancies.
• Utilize SAP Business One for efficient financial management and reporting.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team, providing necessary financial support and insights.
• Process, verify, and maintain invoices and invoice queries.
• Perform data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in entering financial data.
• Conduct check runs to ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Use Microsoft Excel for creating spreadsheets, maintaining data, and running advanced calculations.
• Monitor customer accounts, identifying outstanding debts and taking necessary recovery actions.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers, answering queries and providing account information.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with SAP software
• Experience in Account Reconciliation
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) procedures
• Experience in Check Runs is an advantage
• Skills in Coding Invoices
• Proficiency in Data Entry tasks
• Experience in Invoice Processing
• Ability to work in a fast-paced wholesale distribution environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Proven ability to meet deadlines.
