Government Contract Administrator (Bidding and Compliance) GSS

Overview

GSS is looking to expand into goverment contracts. We are seeking Government Contract Manager who will work on creating propsals and working with federal, state, and local agencies to close contracts. The position is two folds, working with contracts as well as ensuring that complaince for said contracts is done.

This will be executed in conjunction with the Human Resourse department.

Responsibilities

Evaluates bids submitted by potential customers to determine terms, conditions and specifications.

Investigates and makes recommendations on product requirements within bid.

Conducts a risk assessment of relevant bids and point out areas of concern that require discussions with sales, pricing, marketing and business planning departments.

Develops recommends and obtains approval for pricing consistent with company goals

Investigates and reports on all bid results and analyzes results for competitive pricing and for future reference.

Prepares monthly bid status reports detailing all in-house bid activity.

Ensures that all contracted pricing is properly loaded into the SAP system so that orders may be properly processed against the contract.

Ability to work effectively, independently, or collaboratively with a team.

Strong business decision making and analytical skills.

Minimal Travel requirements

Qualifications

2+ years in working with government contracts required

1+ years working in janitorial government bidding. (Required)

Strong understanding in janitorial work

Strong analytical abilities required.

Strong Excel abilities required.

Experience writing proposals for government bids.

Ideally have some recent wins on those bids.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00 /year
