Receptionist

We are seeking a Temporary Receptionist who will be the first point of contact for a local law firm. We are looking for an individual who is prompt, polished, professional, and can deliver top-tier customer service. This role will provide support to administrative staff and attorneys, ensure smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and queries.
Responsibilities:
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
- Greet and welcome guests upon their arrival at the office.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable at all times.
- Perform various clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, data entry and updating records as needed.
- Schedule and confirm appointments and maintain event calendars.
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail or deliveries.
- Ordering supplies as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- High school degree; additional certification(s) in office management are a plus.
