We are seeking a Temporary Receptionist who will be the first point of contact for a local law firm. We are looking for an individual who is prompt, polished, professional, and can deliver top-tier customer service. This role will provide support to administrative staff and attorneys, ensure smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and queries.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
  • Greet and welcome guests upon their arrival at the office.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable at all times.
  • Perform various clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, data entry and updating records as needed.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments and maintain event calendars.
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail or deliveries.
  • Ordering supplies as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • High school degree; additional certification(s) in office management are a plus.
